Who is JM Coaching?
Hello, and welcome to JM Professional & Career Coaching Services, otherwise known as JM Coaching!
My name is Jacky Matthews, I am an experienced teacher, trainer and senior manager, having been in the Education sector for over 20 years.
So here I am, hoping to help you as an individual to:
- achieve your goals, whether that is a new job or a promotion
- help you feel more valued and respected at work
- reduce work-related stress
- regain your confidence and work out what you really want
Also hoping to help your business to:
- enhance team dynamics
- reduce staff turnover, reduce absenteeism, improve performance and consequently improve productivity.
- create a safe culture that promotes innovation
- develop leadership qualities
I decided to focus my coaching on what I knew best, which was helping leaders and managers to improve their skills and build their teams. As well as helping them achieve their career aspirations and building up their confidence to not settle for what they had but achieve more.
Many people I have worked with under estimate their ability and I am passionate about them being able to see what I can see!
I started coaching in 2006 and initially coached my peers to improve performance in the classroom and then individual team members and then managers in my Departments. I have also trained managers to coach their teams and trained lesson observation staff to feedback on performance using coaching techniques to reduce complaints.
I have carried out many hours of coaching friends and colleagues to help deal with specific problems at work.
It was one of my friends that had a really difficult situation at work that I helped her to resolve and she questioned why I wasn’t coaching as a full-time job.
Anyway, that’s enough about me!
